In Pakistan, this trend is well established in the name of Hikmat/Tabib and approximately, 600 1000 medicinal plants of the country have been used in the management of different pathological conditions by more than 40,000 registered and a large number of unregistered Hakims or Tabib [ 3].
In parallel with advancing of studies on MSC, the urgency of establishing suitable animal models that could allow researchers to study the properties of MSCs and their use in different pathological conditions has become more evident.
We trust that the combination of the different therapeutic approaches discussed in this review will prove more efficient in curing or alleviating the many different pathological manifestations of LSDs.
