With the exception of the first scene of the Gotoh edition, the Matsudaira clan scroll depicts events on Kankō 5, 11th month, 1st day (December 1 , 1008, the day of the ika-no-iwai, the 50th day of birth celebration of Atsuhira-shinnō, the later Emperor Go-Ichijō Go-Ichijō
As with all but the first scene of the Matsudaira scroll, this scene is set on the evening of Kankō 5, 11th month, 1st day (December 1 , 1008, the day of the Ika-no-iwai of the Imperial Prince Atsuhira-shinnō Atsuhira-shinnōror Go-Ichijō.
Like all but the first segment of this scroll, the scene is set in the evening of Kankō 5, 11th month, 1st day (December 1 , 1008 on occasion of the 50th day celebration of the birth of Atsuhira-shinnō Atsuhira-shinnōror Go-Ichijō.
Like its preceding and successive scenes (scenes 2 and 3 from the Gotoh edition), the painting depicts the celebration for the 50th day of the birth of the Imperial Prince Atsuhira-shinnō Atsuhira-shinnōror Go-Ichijō in the evening of Kankō 5, 11th month, 1st day (December 1, 1008).
The mean postoperative 1st day, 1st week and 1st month Schirmer Test 1 (ST1) values were significantly lower than preoperative ST1 value (P < 0.001, P < 0.001, P < 0.001), however 3rd month, 6th month, 1st year and 2nd year values were not significantly different from preoperative value (P = 0.748, P = 0.439, P = 0.091, P = 0.214).
In comparison with preoperative value, the 1st day, 1st week and 1st month values were significantly lower (P < 0.001, P < 0.001, P < 0.001), however 3rd month, 6th month, 1st year and 2nd year values were not significantly different from preoperative value (P = 0.441, P = 0.078, P = 0.145, P = 0.125).
