The didactic modules were designed to equip fellows with skills in communication, leadership, monitoring and evaluation, implementation science, health informatics, research methods, grant writing, human resources, and budgeting, as well as global health policy and governance.
For each of our research sites, we needed to distinguish start-up from running costs, women's groups from health service strengthening, our package of interventions from other intervention(s) implemented by partner institutions, monitoring and evaluation from implementation, research from implementation, and process evaluation from implementation.
