According to DINAMelt, in a mixture of equal amounts of the cDNA probe and the target aLF molecules, the cDNA-aLF hybrid duplexes (with one end containing a GC base pair and the other having a AT base pair) are the dominant species (>99.9%), while other DNA species or structures such as homodimers and hairpins could be neglected.
