The overall structure of 1 with total potential solvent-accessible volume of 44.2% presents a fourfold interpenetrated topology from 6-connected CdO-like nets, while that of 2 with nanosized channels occupied by free DMF molecules displays a fivefold interpenetrated framework of [Zn SDC)(L2)]n from 4-connected diamondoid networks.
As shown in Figure 5, sample (a) of 40 g/L PVP molecules displays a ξ-band at 6.0 mV with surface conductivity (σsc) = 0.014 mS/cm at pH 7.5, whereas an Au colloid (b) consisting of 3 μM Au NPs with 40 g/L PVP results in a larger ξ-value of 15.2 mV, with an enhanced σsc = 0.125 mS/cm at pH 7.4.

The structural motifs of the molecular packing could be identified: aromatic units within a single polymer chain are slightly bent relative to the chain axis, octyl side chains are aligned along the polymer backbone and aromatic units of neighbouring molecules display a strong tendency to stack parallel to each other.
Many of these endogenous molecules displayed a defined localization that correlated to specific tissue compartments (Fig. 4 C, D) while other compounds were more ubiquitously expressed throughout the tissue sample (Fig. 4 B, E).
Cyclodextrin glucanotransferase can, however, also transfer α-1,4-glucans to various other molecules displaying a single glucose moiety or even molecules simply displaying a hydroxyl function.
This work provides a novel therapeutic approach to cardiac diseases that offers molecules displaying a dual mechanism of prosurvival activity.
