Consistent with Ifnb –/– mice, α-syn+ LB-like structures were found in the cerebellum, granular and molecular layers, and significantly in thalamus of Ifnar –/– and nes Cre :Ifnar fl/fl mice.
In AnkG KO mice, GFAP was increased in the cerebellar molecular layers, from high to low in the following order, molecular layer, Purkinje cell layer, and granule cell layer.
In the cerebellum, the granular layer presented low cellularity but the Purkinje and the molecular layers showed no significant alteration.
