The optimal number of charges suitably placed in the molecular frame resulted in being 12 for HT-T and 22 for HT-AT instead of the original 36 and 30 atomic partial charges (see Figure 5).
Sample results are presented on dissociative photoionization from CO+(D2Π) and N2O+(C2Σ+), where molecular frame photoelectron angular distributions are obtained for the first time with vibrational resolution of both initial state and diatomic products.
To lower molecular modeling time but still produce a smooth animation a script was written that extends the molecular frame array by calculating an average structure for every pair of molecules, and inserting that molecule into the sequence.
