Mechanical testing (compression and three-point bending) shows a significant enhancement (up to 28 190%) in the mechanical properties (compressive modulus, compressive yield strength, flexural modulus and flexural yield strength) of WSNT-reinforced PPF nanocomposites compared to the baseline control.
After FDM fabrication, effects on the tensile properties (including tensile strength, Young's modulus, toughness, yield strength, and ductility) and flexural properties (including flexural stress, flexural modulus, flexural toughness, and flexural yield strength) of specimens were experimentally investigated.
Tensile strength, tensile modulus, flexural strength, flexural modulus and HDT increased after rPET fiber incorporation while strain at break, impact strength and fatigue life decreased.
