For the preserved (blue) CB/blood module, we find very high evidence of preservation in both CN (Preservation Z statistic = 20.8) and CB data (Preservation Z statistic > 16.0).
For the preserved (yellow) CN/blood module, we find very high evidence of preservation in CTX data (Preservation Z statistic = 19.1), but only moderate/weak evidence preservation in CB data (Preservation Z statistic = 3.8).
When looking at the functions of the different genes present in the Blue module, we find many genes which have a clear function in the immune system and also have been associated with osteoclast differentiation, e.g. BCL2A1, DOK2, PTPN6 and several genes encoding cell surface molecules (e.g. CD45 and CD68).
All results are shown in Tables 1, 2 and 3. Compared to the group who received an additional BLS training module, we found that the group with BLS training from the driver's education course was more willing to follow dispatchers' instructions by telephone to perform CPR (67% vs. 54%; p < 0.05) and less willing to take BLS training, especially in course form (p < 0.001) (Table 1).
In immune response module we found a highly connected molecule Calnexin which is an important molecule found in obesity [ 26].
In the Brown Module, we found five eQTLs, representing four unique genes: ARF6, PMVK, MSRB2, and two eQTLs in RIN2.
Besides the recurrent use of this morphogenetic module, we found that globally, coplanar cell divisions thin out and spread the surface cell layer over time.
In this update we include the GPY/F module we found in Bel/Pao INTs (see Additional file 2, AF2D) and revise the previous motif of the Mag-like GPY/F module.
For the preserved yellow CN module and preserved blue CB module, we found 305 preserved CN hub genes (colored yellow in Figure 5b) and 277 preserved CB hub genes (colored blue in Figure 5c) using the same threshold.
Similarly, for every gene in the module, we found genes correlated with it (above the set threshold) among 22,746 genes on ATH1 array and checked how many of those correlated genes are also in the same module ("in" links) and how many are not in module ("out" links).
In the backfat module, we found that genes involved in the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids (such as ELOVL6, ACOT4, ACOT7, HSD17B12, PECR and SCD) were negatively correlated with NEFA, suggesting that the synthesis of unsaturated fatty acids was repressed in animals with higher plasma NEFA levels.
