While the number of regulated transcripts were below six in these two studies, our results showed a much stronger response with 93, 208, and 455 modulated transcripts for the kidney cortex, kidney medulla, and liver, respectively, in the group injected with the highest 131I activity.
Common responses were identified to treatment with both enediynes and γ-radiation representing 55% of the modulated transcripts (124 of 225 ORFs).
