The flower motif turns linear and — enmeshed in a diagonal grid — forms offhandedly Persian patterns that are tellingly modulated by different color contrasts.
The results for Experiment 1 revealed that smooth pursuit was modulated by the color of the surface pursued (Figure 2).
A tungsten-halogen light source (HL-2000-FHSA-LL, Ocean Optics, USA) was guided by a fiber P400-2-UV-Vis P400-2-UV-Vis P400-2-UV-Vis P400-2-UV-Visss lens (fOceanlength = 10 mm), attenuated by neutral filters, mOpticsed by a color filter (QB2, Yinxing Optical, China) and a 650 nm short pass filter (SP650, DHC, China), and then USAd as the light sourcollimatedabyorption spectra measurement.
The voxels that were significantly modulated by different colors (Fig. 2A, rightmost panel), however, display 2 major peaks around S-cone selective directions in the hue cycle (90° and 270°) but are conspicuously absent around the L − M axis (0° and 180°).
In addition, this effect was modulated by perceptual cues encouraging (common color) or discouraging (different colors) the grouping of the target and flanking stimuli.
There are different kinds of color inference processes that operate on the same internal representation, which are modulated by perceptual context (e.g. colors in a color-coding system) and conceptual context (e.g. concepts in a color-coding system).
This effect was not modulated by an interaction with Image Color in any ROI (P's > 0.24).
The data are modulated by 16QAM modulation.
