We have constructed and validated modular chambers to conduct high throughput screens of anesthetic-induced loss of righting reflex and its subsequent return.
To create severe hypoxic environmental conditions, cells were placed into a modular incubator chamber (Billups-Rothenberg, Del Mar, CA, USA) and gas without oxygen (95%N2, 5% CO2) was flushed into the chamber for 10 min.
