These comments show that the participants take MRSA seriously, they take responsibility for their own wound care as well as limiting their activities to minimize exposure for others, and they have modified their attitudes towards hygiene, infection control, and their environments.
Avoiding inconsistent information prevents them from threatening position which could modify their attitude.
