The dominating categories included 'general function predictions only' (827 unigenes), 'post-translational modification, protein turnover, chaperones' (492 unigenes), 'signal transduction mechanisms' (368 unigenes), 'translation, ribosomal structure and biogenesis' (329 unigenes), and 'energy production and conversion' (327 unigenes).
