The back-translation and the suggested modifications of the expert committee to the first version of the Dutch translation were reviewed by the ASCOT development team, who provided feedback and some alternative modifications.

Later that month, a review committee presented 37 proposed modifications to the event to an international jury which the committee deemed necessary to be fulfilled in order for the event to go ahead altogether.

The DSMB also reports its findings of any adverse events or decisions regarding modification of the protocol to the University of Michigan IRB committee.
The modifications, recommended by the league's competition committee and approved by the Board of Governors, take effect next season.
