In agreement with this prediction, we found that transheterozygous mutant neurons (ena−/+ chic−/+), which showed modest, though significant reductions in Chic and Ena levels (Fig. 4L), failed to display any filopodial length phenotypes (Fig. 4E).
Loss of DNA methylation in callus was much more modest, though significant.
The decrease in WBC in combination therapy is mainly due to interferon, but also ribavirin causes a modest, though significant decrease in WBC.
Moreover, the affinity of the t1DAP target is ∼1.7-fold greater than that of the equivalent t1A target, indicating that Ago2 has a modest, though significant, preference for t1DAP over t1A (p-value = 0.0025; two-tailed, unpaired Student's t-test).
A fit to the data with Eq. (2) (dashed line) yielded an IC50 for inhibition of Y652A IHERG of 27.8 ± 8.8 μM (with a Hill coefficient of 0.9 ± 0.3), which represented a modest, though significant (p < 0.05), ∼4.2 fold increase in IC50 over that for WT IHERG.
The one study of insulin lispro that used the DTSQ Change measure was able to show the substantial increases in patient satisfaction [ 17] apparent to clinicians in their routine practice, instead of the more modest, though significant, improvements apparent with the DTSQ Status [ 17].
