At a system level, Professional Learning Teams have the choice of adopting three types of collaborative methods/tools coined by the MOE: LCs, Action Research (which favours the positivist slant historically proposed by the North Zone schools) and Lesson Study – all of which rely on inquiry as the mode of professional learning to improve professional practice.
