The proposed specimen is very suitable for mixed mode fracture experiments on brittle materials, because three-parameter fracture criteria (based on KI, KII, and T) have been proven to be more accurate in estimating the mixed mode fracture resistance of engineering materials.
Based on the batch mode experiments, Fe3O4@PDA@BA-MOFs showed high selectivity, obvious binding kinetics, large adsorption capacity, and excellent reusability (above 91.23% at least six repeated adsorption-desorption cycles).
