The phrase "moderation effects of" is correct and can be used in written English.
It is typically used in a research or academic context to describe the impact or influence that a particular factor has on the relationship between two other variables. Example: "The study examined the moderation effects of age on the relationship between stress and job performance in a sample of working adults."
To determine whether the effect was a mediating or moderating influence, we additionally examined moderation effects of the FPCN on the DN or SN relationships to cognition (Fig. 5, right).
Fortunately, most published papers in which the univariate moderation model was used concern moderation effects of family-level moderators such as SES, parental educational attainment level, or the age of the twins, i.e., variables that are by definition equal in both twins.
Irrespective of the exact nature of the moderating mechanism, the present study set out to test whether similar moderation effects of parental educational attainment level can be detected for adulthood psychometric IQ scores, as has been observed for childhood IQ.
