Moderate reliability was observed between the repeated IPAQ, with intraclass correlation coefficients ranging from 0.53 to 0.91.
The ICC interpretation that was used considered the reliability of the values as follows: slight reliability for values between 0 and 0.2, fair reliability for values from 0.21 to 0.4, moderate reliability for values between 0.41 and 0.6, substantial reliability for values from 0.61 to 0.8, and almost perfect reliability for values higher than 0.81.
An ICC of 0.8 or higher reflects high relative reliability, between 0.6 and 0.8 moderate reliability and less than 0.6 indicates poor reliability.
Intra-examiner results showed that ICCs are 0.729 and 0.834 in the X-axis and 0.694 and 0.533 in the Y-axis for the investigator RP and investigator RL, respectively, which indicated that a good reliability in the X-axis and moderate reliability in the Y-axis existed between repeated measurements of each investigator.
Generalisibility coefficients seem however to have a fairly wide range from 0.4 to 0.85, with the bulk of coefficients being between 0.5-0.6 0.5-0.6ing moderate reliability [ 10].
As suggested by Portney and Watkins [20], CMC and ICC values above 0.75 indicated good reliability, those between 0.5 and 0.75 moderate reliability and those under 0.5 poor reliability.
ICC values between 0.50 and 0.75 indicated moderate reliability and values >0.75 good reliability.
ICC estimates >0.75 were considered as good reliability scores, between 0.50 and 0.75 as moderate reliability, and <0.50 as poor reliability.
ICC values of 0.75 and above represent good reliability, values between 0.40 and 0.74 represent moderate reliability and those below 0.40 indicate poor reliability 0.75 [ 18].
ICC estimates above 0.75 were considered as good reliability scores, estimates between 0.50 and 0.75 as moderate reliability scores, and estimates below 0.50 as poor reliability scores, respectively [ 52].
