To identify new gene models we looked for Cufflinks transcripts lacking any overlap with gene models from the Xenopus model organism database (Xenbase) [ 23].
"Once you get past the fact that, yes, it is a different financial model, we look like the other schools in our conference," said Brian Mueller, the university's president and chief executive, who described Grand Canyon as one of the "good players" in the for-profit school sector.
As we deploy and track this model, we look forward to reporting on the lives touched -- and saved -- as a result of the backpacks and, more importantly, the people carrying them.

To further investigate the behavior of our model, we look at how of the number of groups (the diversity regime) scales with the communication rate for different system sizes (Fig. 6 A).

The model we looked at, in blue, has a certain "faded" look to it akin to old Kodachromes and the nylon straps are much more durable than the leather models.
There are still some question marks around final design elements, as the model we looked at doesn't yet have a dedicated print button, for instance, but it works as advertised and definitely has a striking, retro-chic industrial design.
