It refers to a type of analysis where mathematical or statistical models are used to test the sensitivity of a system or process to certain variables or inputs. Example: The researchers conducted a thorough sensitivity analysis, using various models to determine the impact of changes in interest rates on the stock market.
Classical uncertainty quantification methods include, but are not limited to, both Frequentist and Bayesian statistical analysis, stochastic models, sensitivity analysis, or Monte Carlo methods [17],[17].
