As many of these modelled variables have state-based equivalents, the present study evaluated the generalisability of this model to predict associations between state body dissatisfaction and instances of disordered eating.
These variables may be modelled as covariates if we are prepared to adjust for them [ 18], or as further response variables if we are not [ 18, 19].
Maternal height, total energy intake, and BMI were used as continuous variables in the model because the associations between these variables and the outcome were linear and the results were similar whether the variables were modelled as continuous or categorical.
Independent variables were modelled as dummy variables on categories, as specified in Table 1.
These transitions are dynamically simulated and driven by modelled hydraulic variables (soil water and floodwater depth).
The independent variable was the metabolic variable, temperature was modelled as linear variable, and the clustering variable was a patient identifier.
Among the four modelled key variables, i.e., water level, COD (in CODCr), NH4+-N and PO43−-P, the minimum value of the coefficient of determination (CoD) was 0.69, indicating the model performed reasonably well.
Table4 indicates that many of the modelled input variables can be changed to their extremes, and still the policy of 'radical prostatectomy for all' does not become cost effective compared to the selective marker-based policy.
None of the likelihood ratio test statistics for these variables were significant for any of the outcome variables and in order to increase our power to detect an association, income, number of household members and BMI in 1999 were modelled as continuous variables.
In all models, BMI and WC were modelled as continuous variables.
