In the fitting of models, the blind and the non-blind hormone therapy arms were combined as well as the placebo and non-treatment arms to increase power.

For each round of the sampling, we tested the performance of the constructed SVM model with the blind test dataset, which contained 97 active compounds and 36 733 inactive compounds that all were excluded from the sampling process (Fig. 5).
This, too, varies with the make and model of the blinds.
Then, we measured the change in model performance on the blind dataset.
As well as AIC, the root mean squared error (RMSE) of the model predictions for the blind test data is also given.
Consequently, the quality of models submitted to the blind prediction challenge CAPRI (Critical Assessment of PRedicted Interactions) has steadily increased, including complexes predicted from homology structures of one binding partner and complexes with atomic accuracy at the interface.
A number of studies have concluded that LIF neurons can not be used for simulating temporal frequency coding mechanisms at the single neuron level [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], and that the LIF model is blind in the temporal domain owing to the fact that its efferent firing rate is independent of the input temporal frequency [9].
As input for the blind modelling, each modeller had to select a range of different input data that included a heat release rate curve and ignition properties for each combustible item.
When the V1 model was applied to the blind field of patients, the only occipital area conforming to this pattern was contralateral cortex corresponding to V5/MT+ (z = 3.82, P < 0.001 uncorrected. See Fig. 4C, and Table 2 for coordinates).
