Finite as well as infinite ranges for model input factors are allowed.
Figure 6 also shows the result of GSUA in which uncertainty is considered for SIR and mobility model input factors.
GSUA first assign uncertainty and that drives sensitivity analysis via variability of model output that accounts for non-linearity among model input factors and those and model output.
Sensitivity analyses indicate that the most critical model input factors include flow resistance parameters, initial soil TP content, and P cycling parameters compared to initial water level, initial TP concentration in water column, ET and transport parameters.
These model input factors are summarized in Table 3. Cholesterol levels were assumed to be equal for the two regimens based on the published study report [ 12].
This method allows to investigate how a specified model outcome changes according to a perturbation of the model input factors, realized by varying one input factor at a time while keeping all the others fixed.
