As the code can only model fully saturated systems, natural systems must be simplified to end-member situations, such as given by constant pressure boundary conditions as may be the case close to underground CO2 plumes, or the assumption of packages (batches) of water reacting along a reaction path with a homogenous sediment or rock body.
This involved comparing a series of nested models representing the two different accumulation models and a sensitive period model with a fully saturated model that assumes that all of the possible trajectories of physical activity across adulthood are associated with physical performance and strength (Appendix A, available online at www.ajpmonline.org).org
