How much, how soon? Brand representatives said prices should not differ greatly from the outgoing model; figure on a base price around $63,000 for the GL450, roughly $1,000 less for the diesel model and about $85,000 for the GL550, meaning a stuffed GL could bust into the six figures.
However, compared to such structural models, figures on market concentration based on patient flows usually provide rather conservative estimates, i.e. they underestimate the true market concentration [22].
In response to the comments from two referees who felt that this was a bad idea, we have revised the main text and figures to remove this naming convention, eliminate the model figures, and focus on the new data.
The set of GFP distributions as a function of the inducer concentration are shown in Figure 7. Stochastic simulation of the dynamical model (Figure 1) based on the well-known Gillespie algorithm [24] (Text S1) reproduces the qualitative features of the distributions shown in Figure 2 (Figure S6) and the plots in Figure 3C (Figure S7).
On the contrary, a hybrid model (Figure 9c; early dextral slip on the en echelon faults and late reverse slip on the Hidaka faults) that assumed propagation of fault terminations was able to restore the complicated Neogene basin arrangement successfully (see Figure 7).
However, our new data suggest Baz's dual roles in centrosome orientation and COC (model: Figure 6E), possibly depending on centrosome docking status: when Baz is docked with the centrosome, it signals to inactivate COC as proposed previously.
The competency level model (Figure 3), which was generated on this basis, is the result of the procedure used in Hartig (2007).
We therefore recommend publication in a high profile journal such as eLife, if appropriate revision is done, particularly on the model figure.
In the docked models, both compounds insert the ω-9 end into the cavity, form extensive contacts with the protein surface, and position their carboxy termini adjacent to a positively charged arginine side chain (R53 or R61, dependent on the model, Figure 3A,B, Figure 2 figure supplement 2D F, Figure 3 figure supplement 1A).
The DLS data are consistent with a model predicting the size of the oligomers (see 'Materials and methods' for details on the model, Figure 5B, black line) which incorporates the Kd of ∼25 µM obtained from our ITC analysis of the CPX26 83 and blocked SNAREΔ60 interaction.
