Alongside PhenoBase, each animal model entry is annotated with information about the experimental paradigm used and age at testing so as to allow researchers to have maximum information to conduct comparative analysis or to replicate models.
PDB_REDO changes models both by re-refinement, incorporating advances in crystallographic methods since the original structure model (the PDB entry) was constructed, and by limited rebuilding, mainly of residue side chains [15], improving the fit of models to the ED [16].
