The main reasons for centres not participating in follow up were factors such as mobility of the local population and inaccurate or no contact details provided at discharge from the hospital or that there was no local coordinator, often because the coordinator for the main trial had left.

Secondly, most knowledge spillover models measure the effects of knowledge input variables (e.g. R&D investments, mobility of labour, local labour market structure) in terms of innovation, productivity, growth or entrepreneurship and tend to pay too little attention on the exact spillover mechanism.
They also identified the lower mobility of the local user, due to the wired connection to the backpack, as factor with negative impact on the realism and execution of the scenarios as well as significant implications for adopting such AR technology in real practice (aspect 5b in Table 1).
