She is survived by her three sons, John, of Minneapolis (MN), Hugh, of Takoma Park (MD) and Horace, of Minneapolis (MN) and four grandsons and four granddaughters.
Also survived by daughter Mary Ann Putnam of Hilton Head, SC, son Thomas S. Warner of Garden City, NY, grandsons Jeffrey Putnam of Miniapolis, MN, Jonathan Putnam of North Potomac, MD, Christopher Putnam of Excelsior, MN, and six great-grandchildren: Ethan, Samuel, Eli, Sydney, Lindsey and Matthew.
Thus, the present work was aimed at determining the levels of seven metals, namely, cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), lead (Pb), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and manganese (Mn), and six physicochemical parameters (pH, electrical conductivity (EC), ash content, moisture content, and sugar content) of various floral honeys that are produced in different areas of Bangladesh.
All laboratories used ELISA for detection in the 2-day MN assay and HA (turkey or guinea pig RBC) for detection in the 3-day HA MN assay, and two laboratories also sent corresponding titers detected by CPE.
A few unimportant variables (Mn, Pb and two PCBs) placed before PCB 170 in the importance ranking as well.
Since high intracellular Mn/Fe ratios have been implicated in radiation and desiccation resistance [5], [12], [17], [23], we examined the intracellular concentrations and distributions of Mn, Fe and seven other elements in D. geothermalis compared to D. radiodurans, determined by x-ray fluorescence (XRF) microscopy (Figure 7) [142].
They also reported two Mn-SOD and six Cu/Zn-SOD isozymes after drought treatment suggesting involvement of an extra SOD VI (Cu/Zn-SOD) to be involved in drought tolerance.
To quantify the degree of IBA-1 upregulation induced by SIV infection in CD8-depleted animals, immunohistochemistry computer image analysis was performed on brain sections from uninfected, CD8-depleted control animals along with those from the two SIV-infected, persistently CD8-depleted cohorts, of which included one cohort that was MN-treated and one untreated cohort.
In contrast, one of four persistently depleted MN-treated (25%) and two of three short-term depleted MN-treated (66%) animals had identifiable infiltrates in the brain at 8 wpi.
