These concepts can be put into practice by the development of the 'model train' to predict and quantify expected net mixture impacts for water bodies in Europe.
This paper defines and explores the use of eco-epidemiological analysis of surveillance monitoring data sets via a proxy to quantify mixture impacts on ecosystems.
