Remixing commercial pop songs isn't entirely new; over the years, Nine Inch Nails, Beck and other bands have offered albums in "dial up your own mix" editions.

There aren't many boxes left for Dutch tech deity Joris Voorn to check off as a DJ, but that hasn't stopped him from mixing the 83rd edition of the fabric mix series in his seductive, and always dancefloor ready style.
This month the designer adds yet another must-have to the mix — a limited edition long-sleeve style featuring a wiggly stripe hand-drawn by the artist Elliott Puckette, a friend of Leach's.

Summing up the student mix in its 2005 edition of "The Best 357 Colleges," it says: "Imagine that all the 'brilliant weirdos,'introverteded poetic types,'artisticic geniuses,' and 'social martyrs' from high school came together in one place -- that place is Sarah Lawrence".
