It would seem that accusations of racism can spark an international incident, but insidious comments such as Jermaine Jackson's, "You can't mix class with no class," Ken Russell and Leo Sayer's evident disdain for ordinary people, and Dirk's complaints about Jade's accent, are more than acceptable, since they match prevailing beliefs among the establishment of this country.
