2. Probes without exact matches are then tested for alignment with single base pair mismatches, again using a hash table approach with an expanded dictionary to include all possible mismatch sequences.
Evaluation under degraded mobile to landline and mismatched conditions again demonstrated that LS with ( {mathrm{s}}_{ell_1mathrm{norm}} ) performed well and gave consistent gains in both validity and reliability over the GMM-UBM and SVM baselines.
However, the power mismatch calculation is again required to decide whether the DL is committed.
In other words, the mismatch rate was again approximately 10%, suggesting that O. melastigma might be divergent from O. latipes.
Note, however, that the reported averaged T m differences are biased toward lower values, since the cases of dinucleotide/extreme position mismatches, which would again reduce the melting temperature of the duplex, were not included in the T m calculation.
Interestingly, plotting the analogous difference in the B r component predicted by the VFM 2015.0 and N-VFM 2015.0 auxiliary model reveals a much weaker effect (Fig. 5b), showing that it is again the mismatch in the directional information provided by ASM-V and VFM data sets that is mainly responsible for the enhancement of this high-latitude effect.
Again, observed mismatch distributions were significantly different from that expected under stable population models (K-S tests; P < 0.0001), but the data did not fit the expansion model either.
Lastly, we observe a poor performance for GASV in terms of mean boundary mismatch for small reads (again for similar reasons), whereas DB's performance is very stable for all read lengths.
Still, the observed combination effects of these five agents were larger than those anticipated by IA, but fell short of those calculated according to CA. Again, this mismatch prompted us to assess whether a hybrid prediction model would yield better approximations of the observed effects.
