The odds of miscarriage was increased in two subgroups: women with recurrent miscarriage (1.86, 1.18 to 2.94; P=0.008) and women with subfertility (1.50, 0.99 to 2.26; P=0.05).
The risk of miscarriage was increased in weeks 13-20 of gestation (relative risk 1.35, 95% confidence interval 1.02 to 1.77, one sided P=0.017).

In addition, endometrial vascular development has been positively correlated with numbers of uterine natural killer cells; being increased in recurrent miscarriage and recurrent implantation failure and decreased in heavy menstrual bleeding (Quenby et al., 2009; S Biswas Shivhare, JN Bulmer, D Hapangama, GE Lash, personal communication).
Intrauterine growth retardation, miscarriages, stillbirths, pre-eclampsia and prematurity are increased in pregnancies involving cytotoxic treatment [ 33], yet are not ranked as malformations or teratogenicity.
This appears to be increased in women with a history of miscarriage and those who have combined infertility and miscarriage.
