"minor finding" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
You can use it when referring to a small discovery or something that is found in the course of research or an investigation that is not particularly significant, or to refer to an incident that is not major enough to cause serious harm or damage. For example, "The investigation produced a few minor findings, but nothing substantial that would lead to further action."
