A protein from a genome was marked as shared if it had at least one BLAST match to a protein in the other genome satisfying the minimum sequence similarity criteria (e-value ≤ 1 × 10-5, localignmentsnts covering at least 70%).
The standard similarity criterion was set to a minimum of 60% amino acid identity and 80% coverage of both proteins.
