The minimal mouse Socs3 promoter construct (pGL3-SOCS3-107Luc) was a gift from Professor J.G. Bode (Heinrich-Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany) with permission from Professor Shlomo Melmed (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, West Hollywood, CA, U.S.A).
Transgenic mice in ICR background harboring both human CD81 and OCLN genes (C/OTg) driven by a minimal mouse albumin promoter and mouse alpha fetoprotein enhancer II were generated (Supplementary information, Figure S1A).
The growth speed and bacteria accumulation in cells were lower in cell lines of human origin (HEL and MRC5) cultivated at 32°C but were minimal in mouse L929 cells (data not shown).
Similarly, the intestinal egg count was minimal in mouse groups immunized with the fusion protein where burden reduction reached 72.8 and 76.6% for the adjuvanted and unadjuvanted FSm14/29 antigen, respectively (Table 1).
At least a minimum of 22 cells derived from minimal 3 mice have been analyzed.
As shown in the top panels, inflammation at 2 weeks is minimal in mice exposed to 1 µg of HDM and severe in those exposed to 25 µg.
When the mnemonic demand was minimal, all mice exhibited a clear preferential exploration of the novelty (arm effect, F 1,16) = 17.2, p<0.001, no effect of genotype, F 1,16) = 0.15, n.s., or arm x genotype, F 1,16) = 1.64, n.s.; Table 1).
Interestingly, permeability changes across the alveolar epithelium and histological changes suggestive of lung injury were minimal in mice in the LPS + MV group.
After 2 weeks, when proliferation and progesterone receptor (PR) expression are minimal, the mice were treated with E2 using a 2 mg slow-release pellet for 1 week, which we have previously shown to be optimal for inducing proliferation and PR [ 4].
In addition the Clic4 null mice show a trend toward fewer mice with minimal injury and more mice dying of acute injury within one week of folic acid injection, although these do not reach the 95% confidence level.
These mice develop vascular lesions in various organs, but spontaneous lesions in the brain were modest in Eng+/− mice and minimal in Alk1+/− mice [ 20, 22].
