Never mind common sense.
In the school of language-based common sense, the Open Mind Common Sense project was started in 1999 by Marvin Minsky, Push Singh, and myself.
There have been several crowdsourced projects to learn facts or acquire common sense, among them Mindpixel, Never-Ending Language Learning (NELL) and Open Mind Common Sense.
The first approach is using ConceptNet [20, 21], a text-processing toolkit that makes use of a large semantic database automatically generated from sentences in the Open Mind Common Sense Project, (http://openmind.media.mit.edu/).edu/
On the other hand, traditional semi-automatic KA methods (model-based)—for example, those adopted in the Open Mind Common Sense (OMCS) project [34] and OMCS-Br [38] face difficulties in capturing users pragmatic knowledge and common-sense knowledge.
