The SAXS data were collected in 30 min increments for a total of 5 hr (10 hr for the 0.5 mM sample); no difference was found between the first and last frames of SAXS data.
For this exercise, we chose 1 min increments to evaluate the curve and defined an increase of > 30 mV/minute as a significant increase (Additional file 1).
