MS mothers with greater disability had slightly higher odds of a Caesarean section compared to women with a normal neurological examination (EDSS = 0) (mild disability: OR, 1.47; 95% CI, 0.71 3.05; p = 0.31; moderate/severe disability: OR, 1.64; 95% CI, 0.68 3.95; p = 0.27); however, these findings were not statistically significant.
A similar effect was found for assisted vaginal delivery, with increased odds found among women with higher EDSS scores around the time of delivery; however, this finding also lacked statistical significance (mild disability: OR, 1.33; 95% CI, 0.45 3.93; p = 0.61; moderate/severe disability: OR, 1.65; 95% CI, 0.37 7.31; p = 0.51).
Regarding severity of disability, those with mild disability had the highest utilization rate (18.8%) (P <0.05).
Disability as assessed on the basis of their HAQ scores significantly decreased in all cases (ΔHA Q−0.78; P < 0.05): at the end of the followup, the HAQ score was 0.69 (mild disability) as against 1.42 at baseline (moderate disability).

Patients with mild disability needed as much psychologic support as patients with severe whole disability.
Grade 1 (scores 0 5) = little or no disability; grade 2 (scores 6 10) = mild disability; grade 3 (scores 11 20) = moderate disability; grade 4 (score ≥ 21) = severe disability [14].
The MIDAS scores showed that 13 patients (24.1%) had minimal disability, 8 (14.8%) patients had mild disability, 16 (29.6%) had moderate disability and 17 (31.5%) had severe disability (Table 2).
In the mild disability group, it was a predictor for perceived neck-pain-related disability and fatigue after 24 hours.
Summing these individual values yields a total disability score, which correspond to four severity level: 0 5, little or no disability; 6 10, mild disability; 11 20, moderate disability; 21 or above, severe disability.
