The arrival of moist southwesterly wind in the lower troposphere is associated with the large-scale seasonal migration of low-level convergence and activated the Asian summer monsoon in the Philippines (Wang 2006).
This might be explained by factors pertaining to migration per se as well as to such lifestyle factors after migration as low levels of employment and education and higher prevalence of overweight and obesity among immigrants [ 11].
