High-tier group included FSWs who solicited in karaoke bars, or hotels; middle-tier group included FSWs who solicited in hair salons or barber shops, massage parlors, foot bathing shops, roadside shops, guesthouses, or roadside restaurants; and low-tier group included FSWs who solicited on the street or public outdoor places.
Davis (40th), San Diego (43rd), and Irvine (48th) are grouped in the middle tier, and the remaining campuses are grouped in the bottom tier.8 These fixed effects additionally account for any general time trends in the data.
Other apps will be grouped into a middle tier, where most of them will fall, and a bottom "unwashed masses" tier for untrustworthy or spammy apps that have little user value.
The median income for the middle tier rose 34% to $73,392, and for the lower income group, it was up 28% to $24,074.
The middle tier posted a one-month gain of 0.4 percent, and the highest tier inched up by 0.1 percent.
