We also found a positive correlation between weekly hours of exercise and outcomes in the free immediate recall test (r(49) = 0.33, P = 0.022) (Fig. 1C) and cued immediate recall test (r(49) = 0.38, P = 0.0058; Fig. 1D) in middle aged subjects.
