Object number was calculated by counting the average number of clusters per 10 microns of dendrite length.
Cluster number was calculated by counting the average number of clusters per 100 microns of dendrite length.
The number of EB-stained nuclei was counted per 100 microns of vessel length, as shown in Figure 1.
In situ nuclei labeled with ethidium bromide along the arteriolar wall could be observed and the number of EB-sensitive nuclei could be quantitatively estimated per 100 microns of vessel length, as shown in Figure 4.
