Despite lack of specific guidance on application volume, it has been clearly demonstrated by in- vivo microbiological studies and in clinical settings that antimicrobial efficacy of ABHR is directly proportional to application volume, and that ABHR will not meet global efficacy standards if insufficient volumes of product are applied [ 4– 7].
