Based on the available data in the literature about wild-type C57 mice [ 15], we assumed that there are initially no CD4+ T-cells, and we set the initial number of macrophages in the tissue to 400 cells and the number of CD8+ T-cells to 4. It should be noted here that the model is not sensitive, however, to any of the initial counts of the immune cells, as we will explain in the next section.
