Indeed, Wt MEFs treated with staurosporine maintained respiration considerably longer than observed with ionomycin treatment even though staurosporine-treated Wt MEFs died considerably faster than those with ionomycin.
Half the mice died miserable deaths from overwhelming sepsis.
One (10%%) mouse died after 45 min, and five (50%%) mice died within 15 min.
Thus, tumor-bearing mice died from progressive tumors.
Of note, no mice died in uninfected group (Fig. 1G).
All the infected control mice died by 41 48 days post-infection.
