CLMDR is a new and effective method of maternal death audit.

Life-long learning methods, problem-solving approaches, development and use of early warning scores, regular drills on team responses to emergencies are evidence-based methods of addressing maternal deaths and part of the quality improvement repertoire.
These included maternal race/ethnicity, birth weight, gestational age, method of delivery, maternal history of medical or predisposing conditions, presence of any congenital anomaly, number of prenatal care visits, maternal age, maternal education, plural birth, birth hospital, and maternal county of residence (data not shown in table).
