Despite large efforts to solve this problem the methodological situation appears unsettled to a large extent and the "quest for orthologs" is still an ongoing task in large-scale genome comparisons.
As the ideal methodological situation of random selection of projects to undergo a license change is not possible due to the impossibility of doing that with other people's project (this is not an experiment), alternatively, to control for confounding effects, projects that had their listing categories or audiences changed during the period covered by this study were selected out too.
The major part of the students (72.91% for the conceptual and 61.94% for the statistical dimension) even reaches the level of conducting analyses of research-methodological situations by linking a crucial number of content-related elements (proficiency level B).
Three proficiency levels could be determined: (A) 'the ability to comprehend research-methodological terms and concepts', (B) 'the ability to analyze research-methodological situations by processing several content-related elements', and (C) 'the ability to apply research-methodological concepts and procedures' (cf. Fig. 3).
Regarding methodological heterogeneity, a similar situation occurred in detection and evaluation of minimal residual disease in lymphoma, which, in an international effort, was successfully overcome some 10 years ago [ 7].
Nevertheless this perspective might have led to a situation that methodological arguments for indicator selection and refinement lost too easily from political arguments to reach consensus on indicators that are supported by a broad selection of stakeholders.
We systematically reviewed the proposed solutions for these situations and generated methodological guidance.
After having underlined the importance of agro – ecological transition as a complex process involving environmental, technical, social and societal changes, several methodological approaches based on real situations are proposed to address this transition for goats.
However, the findings are not directly comparable because of different contextual situations and different methodological approaches.
Potentially, this approach can also be used for endemic situations, but further methodological development is required in this respect.
